Intellectual Property & Non-Circumvention
All algorithms, data extraction logic, and structured compliance workflows are the exclusive property of ApproveFlow. Users are strictly prohibited from:
- attempting to decompile or reverse-engineer the software;
- "scraping" regulatory data structures; or
- building a derivative work based on the proprietary "PreFlow" feasibility logic.
Any breach of this clause may give rise to civil and criminal liability under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and applicable intellectual property legislation. ApproveFlow reserves the right to seek injunctive relief without prior notice.
Professional Judgment Mandatory — Human-in-the-Loop Shield
ApproveFlow is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for professional certification. It provides automated data extraction for efficiency only.
Human verification is mandatory at every stage. The User (Certifier) remains solely responsible for the legal accuracy of any assessment or lodgement.
ApproveFlow, its directors, officers, and employees expressly disclaim any liability arising from reliance on automated outputs without independent professional verification. No output generated by ApproveFlow constitutes a formal planning, building, or compliance determination.
No-Reliance Disclaimer — Regulatory Accuracy
While ApproveFlow cross-references current regulations, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy due to the shifting nature of Australian building codes, development control plans, and State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs).
Use of the "PreFlow" tool does not constitute a formal planning approval, complying development certificate (CDC), or any other statutory determination under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW) or equivalent legislation.
Users must independently verify all regulatory references against current legislation before relying on any output for professional or legal purposes.
